Christmas is the time of year when we see lights, shiny tinsels and many decorations that promote the commercialism of Christmas. The parties, gatherings and celebrations go on and on. People want to be happy and cheerful and create an atmosphere to do just that. But there is another group of people who are lonely, discouraged, depressed and “forgotten” by many. There are many things that come into people’s lives that quench that holiday spirit of Christmas. If you are discouraged for any reason this holiday season, you are not alone. We too have that same message – let’s respond like the shepherds.
