The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, “Arise and go down to the potter’s house, …, Behold, like the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, house of Israel.  Jeremiah 18:1 – 6

The Bible has the definition of commitment. Being faithful in action, attitude, word and deed to God’s design and God’s plan. All through the scripture we read about faithfulness. God has a special plan for each and every one of our lives and for us to fulfill that plan we must be committed. To be committed our motivation must be in the right direction. We are motivated to be committed to God because we realize His great love for us in that He entered the world as God the Son to be the sacrifice for our sins. We understand that and love Him because He loved us that much when we were against Him. Remembering the words of Jeremiah in 18: 1 – 6 should remind us of God’s great design and shaping of our lives!
