There are times in life when a bitter spirit can happen to any of us if we are not careful. The root of bitterness can grow very slowly in our hearts before it will eventually come out of us. Unresolved anger, an forgiving attitude, jealousy and resentment are just a few of the struggles in life that we have to deal with that can make us bitter people. The following Bible verses will help us to deal with bitterness. Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a pure heart, O God and renew a steadfast Spirit within me.” Bitterness is not good for anyone. When we are bitter that means we have resisted the Holy Spirit In our lives. We can overcome bitterness as long as we recognize our failures, humble ourselves and repent and receive the blessing of cleansing from our great and mighty God. Don’t be bitter, be better!
