1. Determined to obey (1 Sam. 15:22-23):
– regardless of fear (1 Sam. 13:5-14)
– regardless of loss (1 Sam. 15:2-3, 7-11, 17-19)
– regardless of pressure (1 Sam. 15:20-26)
2. God is more concerned about our inner attitudes than our outward appearance (1 Sam. 9:2; 16:1, 6-7)
